HELLO ALL! I hope you're good.Its been almost a month since Ive posted anything, so its about time it happeneddd! OH MY GARDDD! I miss youuu :)

So, Ive been here about approx 2 weeks? I would say I like it.My parents came visiting the last weekend, it was the best weekend of my life.Never had such alone time with them.

Shopping till we droppinggg, poking fun, and snuggled in between them in bed.Simply awesome.

Classes on the other hand are tough FUDGE! 8 hours of lectures a day is no fun babies.But Im alive and happy.

What more, we felt that earthquake that hit a couple days back.Scary stuff.Im ok :)

Im grateful for good friends, and such. :)

Good Morning. I just had wildberry applejacks with milk for breakfast.Im feeling a little bit under the weather today.And yesterday.And the day before.

So, if you happened to talk to me and I was all smiles, yes I was pretending.

Didnt get much sleep.I supose theres a lot on my mind.I just wish I knew what.Or maybe Im just losing it, for good this time.I no longer look forward to outings.Just home, cooped.

This will pass.I will get over this.Just not today.I doubt tomorrow either.

SO MUCH TO DO, SO LITTLE TIME.

That guy who decided that 24 hours is enough for a day should be shot.

I got my travel bags, and clothings yesterday.

So, I only have my passport, visa, medical checkups, family visits (which includes travelling for 8 to 10 hours), friend visits (which includes Bukit Jalil), the actual packing process, learning how to use an ATM machine, ironing my clothes, installing softwares into the laptop which is yet to be bought,looking for my books,practise writing with a pencil & etc.

Sorry bout the title.HEHE.Yesterday was ultra fun.Came home from my exam in KL, then those 2 calls to go swimming.I say Yes.

Then we swam.

Hello evrybodyh.I hope you are well.Ive decided to post a serious one this week.This story is entitled "Purple Doughnuts".Take note.

In a city within a city, within a city within a city, there lived a boy. Now in this city within a city, within a city within a city, there was a newspaper stand on every street corner. This made life very dull due to the fact that as soon as something happened, everyone would know about it. The city could be getting nuked off of the face of the Earth and every newspaper would be telling everyone and no one would give the slightest bit if interest. In fact, the newspaper ran out of things to put as their headline and soon were posting school lunch menus. 'Extra! Extra! Honest Abe Elementary School is having Macaroni and Cheese for lunch today!' Even the Elementary School full of hyper children wasn't excited to hear about their lunch menu.

Wait, wasn't I telling a story? Thats right. About the boy. He was walking to Honest Abe Elementary School one morning, and he saw a newspaper with a headline that said 'Purple Doughnuts'. The boy didn't know what this meant, and so when he got to school, he asked his teacher about it. Without a second's notice she whisked him out of the room and into the principles office. After saying 'Purple Doughnuts' once more, he was expelled from school.

The same happened also with his mother, father, grandma, grandpa, uncle, aunt, cousin, she-cousin, great grandpa, great grandma, 2nd cousin, 2nd she-cousin, great aunt, great uncle, third cousin twice removed, third she-cousin twice removed, and the rest of his extended family. He became a poor boy living on the streets, until one day, he saw a rocket about to go to Mars. 'Maybe I can go to Mars to find out what Purple Doughnuts means!' he said in a remarkably school-boyish giddy sort of way.

So he got on the rocket effortlessly because this is a story and in stories people can always do whatever the hell they want, and he went to Mars. When he got to Mars there was a big 'ol sign that said 'Purple Doughnuts'. So he ran towards it! It was almost like a movie! He ran in slow motion and Chariots of Fire played! People in the audience started to tear up! He almost reached the sign and BAM! He gets hit by a semi-truck.

The moral to the story-
Look both ways before crossing the street

Yesterday, Dhiv wanted to webcame through MSN but it was so screwed up, so we talked through Skype for HOURS.I swear we were screaming so loud, everyone was waking up in the house.
So I decide, to carry my laptop to my room with Dhiv yelling "EH, Where you Going! ".Then after a few hours, my battery was running low and there wasnt an outlet nearby, so I carried the laptop to the hall and plugged it to an outlet, where I had to sit on the floor.
But it was SO worth it.God I miss that girl ♥

And this was when she realised I was taking pictures :)

Howdy all.How was your day? Mine was pretty lazy today.Ive been having a major problem with spending money.THERE! I said it.Admitting that you have a problem is the first step, fudge fudge fudge.

Im getting all these things which I dont need.And every night before going to sleep, I list down items that I plan to be splurging on the next day.HELP! I only have 5 dollars and 15 cents left from my savings.No good.No good at all.

So, I find this page with a red button which I find so fascinating.Can hardly contain the excitement.
Then get this, I come to find myself clicking on a link and enduring pain for the next few precious minutes which I could have used listing down more items.Do yourself a favour.

So VG and I decided to go watch the movie after much pestering, but yes he conveniently decides to bring a few of his friends along, and somehow I knew I was going to be kicked to the curb.
Did I mention, when he was getting the tickets, the guy asks " Are you 18?" and he replies, "No im 17".

We got the 4 seats at the back, when Nicholas calls and says he'd be joining.And there was only one seat in front- which the guys plotted to throw me to, but changed their minds after seeing the sad helpless self that I was.

This was how we were seated.I swear, all I wanted to do was to watch the movie and go home.I definitely was NOT there to hear their snarly comments and drop-dead-so-not-funny jokes like "OMG that kid has swine flu", like SHUT UP DOOOD!

I was the only one with my hands on my eyes the whole time, while those kids were making silly stabs at the movie the whole way.Bad enough, good ol Tishaan had to hold the popcorn cup on his groin which made it that much more terrifying to reach over.So, screw that.

And, one scene I flinched so hard and hit his glasses and ended up with a concusion.

Moral of the story : Gah.

The other day, we were in our room, VG and me.So, I was string blankly into space when I said..

Me : I miss nursery rhymes.Remember..the dish ran away with the spoon & Insee-Winsee spider?!
VG : Yeah.
Me : Lets sing rhymes,I say one line, u say one.
VG : Okay.

Me : Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall
VG : Humpty Dumpty had a great fall
Me : All the kings horses and all the kings men

(He stops to think, for a really long while.By now I knew that he had forgotten the rhyme, and just as I was about to continue, he says..)

VG: The kings horses and kings men had fried egg for dinner.

Oh by the way, he meant it.He then said " I read that somewhere ok! Stop laughing".So, I decided to give him another chance.I started one that was quite easy.

Me : Sing a song of sixpence, a pocket full of rye
VG : Four and twenty black birds baked in a pie

VG : The maid was in the garden, hanging out the clothes
Me : And down came a black bird and...! (waiting for him to end it)

(He thinks really hard again, when finally he says)

By now, I was hysterically on the ground trying not to choke in laughter.Again, he was very sure he was right.And he wasnt laughing ans demanded the correct answer.Trying to speak between my laughter, I managed to spit out " Its pecked of her nose YOU! "

We've been quarantined.
Dad just told me that the Health Department says we're not to leave the house till the 20th of June.VG has to miss school.Did I mention he has exams? Mom and Dad have to miss work.

Just so happens that my dads ticket wasnt even supposed to be on the 13th of May.He just changed it to come back a little early.And shit happens.

OKOKOK I cant hardly contain myself typing so fast.So excuse spelling errors if theres any.And this is going to be a long one, so brace yourselves.

Well, you know it was my movie night out today right? After so very long!

It was around 5pm and my dad asked us to get dressed.Says we'll have dinner first.So we did, then he told us the movie was at 6.00pm.So driving, and we ended up missing the turning to Jusco.And I was pretty upset only because I love the trailers before the show and at this pace, we'd be late!

Knowing my well-planned-sly-slick-foxy dad, the tickets were for MBO instead, and he just decided to not let us know for the joy of seeing us groan.Tee Hee.So, we got there-watched Star Trek! OMG.Effing wonderful.No Joke okay.♥ Spock:)

Then the movie ended, and I told my Dad " SO NICE! I want to watch it again! "

And he says, "Okay lets watch another movie".

??? WHAT?So, he walks over to the counter, and gets 3 more tickets for Xmen.I did make it a point to say " OHMY GOD, where did you bump your head".SO, 10 minutes later we were in another hall waiting for Xmen to start :) :) :)

My dad was outside on the phone, so VG and I decided to make ourselves comfortable in the hall with our popcorn and smuggled drinks.The thing about MBO is, before the movie starts, they play some lame-ass disco music in the background.So, as it was only VG and me in the cinema, I dared him to walk up the screen and do a crazy-ass dance.AND HE DID.Man I love that kid ♥ Then he made me do it- and I did.Did I mention that I loved every second of it.

We were jumping around the whole hall, dancing and boogey-ing.

So, we sat in our seats-and then my dad decides that the 'couple-seats' were more spacious.So we moved to the back.And midway of the movie, he didnt like it, so we switched back again.Xmen was exciting, I kept yelping and cursing and VG kept shutting me up.

Midway, my dad got a call, he went out of the cinema-so he didnt get to see Ryan Reynolds getting killed.

On the way home, I asked him who the call was from.He says " You know the flight from US to Malaysia, well somone on the flight had the swine flu and the Health Department is checking everyone on the flight.They're on the way to the house right now".

I was in total effing shock OKAY! Ironically, I was sneezing my brains out because 5 hours in the cinema is not an easy task.

Matter of fact, those people are in my house right now.Downstairs.I can hear them.

Okay, Im exhausted.I loved today.So So Much.

Its around 6am +.What am I doing awake? Just saw my brother leave for school.

Today close to 6am, my dad came into our room and asked me to get the webcam plugged in.Kris was on! OH WHAT JOY.Then, he figured that the university computer was blocking the webcam, so we'd have to wait for his laptop to arrive.So, my mom was just typing text.Talk about fish out of water.

Then, I walked back to the room to get back in bed, and my dad walks in again.

Dad : Xmen or Star Trek?
Shamin : (half awake) Huh?
Dad: Yes, tonight.
Shamin : You choose.
Dad: Both of you discuss and let me know.

Shamin : Movie today.Xmen or Star Trek.Coz we've seen Xmen sequels and the story is pretty much the same, but I still prefer Xmen over Star Trek coz I dont really understand Star Trek but then again Zacchary Quinto is acting and might be fun to watch something new for a change so you decide.

You know how in supermarkets, they have a corner where you can scoop things up into a bag and weigh them? Where they sell all kinds of goodies like jellybeans and such?

Yeah, so my mom and I were looking for titbits (or so they call it) when we ended up in this delightful corner.An array of plums, peanuts and candy that is.

So one box said " Haw Sandwiches".It looked purplish pink and were little cubes.Everyone knows what haw is.Its this sour plum-like thing which people put in cakes and stuff like that.

Being the fool that I was, this is how it went down.

Me : (Stares at the captivating box for a few seconds before yelling at the top of my lungs to my mom on the other corner)..MAAAA! WHAT IS HAW?
(and you know what that sounds like)

Mom: (Looks back in horror/shock//...*$&(@)

Me : (Still staring blankly waiting for an answer...before slapping my mouth and realised that a few women were now staring at me).

As we continued or grocery escapade, the both of us couldnt help laughing out loud every time either of us brought it up :)

Gotta admit.Havent had that in a while.

My brother will be leaving to Philladelphia soon, like really soon.Ive heard this a zillion times but time really does freakin fly.My mom has already turned on her emo button.
My dad doesnt help make things easier either.He hops around the house saying "Philly! Philly! Philly! , just to annoy my mom (and yes I mean it when I say "HOPS").

On a happier note, I got VG addicted to 'So Small" -Matt Giraud's version.He plays it on loop.

OKAY PEOPLE! A revolution has begun!

Fine, I made that first part up.

So far my days have been still.And when I mean still, I literally mean STILL-NONMOVING-SILENCE-PINDROP-STILL!

I find myself on the couch, dining table ,the couch and the couch again time after time.This is bad people.Real bad.

Happy things now.Do u like hair? Yes u do :) I like hair too.

I like switching mine up.

Heres the journey of my hair so far :

*Natural

*Then it was highlited brown and red few years back

*Then it was dyed black (twice)-because I had to go back to school

*Highlited brown and red when 1 & 1/2 years later

*Then it was added on with pink highlites-which turned mucky red after a while.

*Waiting for colour to wear off, but its practically just brown now

*Will be dyed black soon.

Anyhow Ive learned to embrace my black hair for what it is now.

My internet appears to be friggin broken!!
So here I am on my bed sneaking my moms laptop, blogging.

Elbows on my bed- it hurts!

Ok, I truly honestly,cross-my-heartly realise that I have an addiction problem.Its not normal to be hooked in front of the internet,-gazing zombie-like at the screen for a whole lot of hours right?

RIGHT?

Well, its the 21st of April.And I have set up a few resolutions that will get me through these few months.Man,this time its war!

1) Get off the Internet! At least log on alternately.Yes,ALTERNATE.I like that word.

2) Stop with the junk food and chocolates.I already look like a pack of wasps attacked me on a hike trip.I dont hike by the way.

3)Cut back on the spending.The last trip to the store-one thing let to another and I was wiped dry of money.And this is so unlike me.Im not a spender to begin with.

4)Refer to No.1

5)Please! I have to get up early.Sleeping in doesnt do me any justice.

Ok-5 alone seems a bit too much for me.And every effort pays off with a reward ey?

Rewards : I will be now allowed to wake up late,take as many trips to KL as I should be allowed to ( IMU-ers! You are more tempting than a crisp Turkish Delight laid out), finish my book! ( Eat,Pray,Love - I cant enter my room anymore with that book calling my name), & parttay like a rockstar :)
Well, not a rockstar...

So there you go.Keep your fingers crossed for me.And if you happen to see me online too often,screaming would be perfect.Thank you :) As this device Im currently pressing on has some kind of magnetic hold,almost druglike on me.

Im back and better than ever.

For the past few weeks, Depression and Loneliness have become friends of mine.Mr.D often comes by force, yes into a pool of wet, mucky tears.He refuses to leave most of the time.Mr.L on the other hand has a more suttle approach.He creeps into bed next to me at night.Fully clothed (with shoes and all) and refuses to leave.

I dont see them much anymore.I dont miss them.

So, Im going to embark on the next project.Since most of you liked the previous one! HAHA

I HAVENT BEEN WATCHING AMERICAN IDOL! and other shows! Ok I shall stop complaining.The laptop is on the way.Anyhow, Ive met awesome friends here in IMU.Just to name a few, my Sparten friends are just amazing.We go out EVERY night.and I mean EVERY.After our finale night of our orientation which ended at 12 midnight, we drove to Midvalley to catch Street Fighter.

Ok, Midvalley at 12 am is not very pleasant-but nevermind.Then we came back around 2 am and stayed at a friends place till 4 am - and I walked back to my apartment at 4 am :)

Obviously I have lost touch of interesting posts.I promise Ill redeem myself :)

Going apartment hunting and finding out that every room you walk into is small and stuffy but the living room is super comfy with sofas and a tv and super nice people living with you and then walking across the street to another apartment where the room is actually pretty big and comfy but now the living room does not have a tv which obviously means there will be no American Idol for me and not knowing if there is a Wi-Fi connection in your room making it impossible to know whats happening in the real world because of no internet connection causing the only way of me being snapped back to reality is during the weekends.

Bites, doesnt it?
